As a Mental Health Practitioner, I use my educational background in Psychology and Health Promotion to offer a holistic approach to supporting you with grief and spirituality & use my Master's degree in Health Science to tailor my support specifically to your unique nervous system with evidence-based health research and tools. Furthermore i'm adding on my already valuable health education with Islamic Studies in FIQH, HADITH, QURANIC SCIENCE, AQEEDAH and TAZKIYAH at Jannah Institute.
Why is this support essential for you :
To often we as women in fertility treatment feel like medical objects, where the focus is solely on the physical body. But what about the grief? the loss of an embryo, a baby...your self ? Yeah that is completely disregarded. And at the same time, the wonderful men standing beside us want so much to support their wives, but end up being unsupported themselves and also have much grief to work through. But who talks about the men? Absolutely no one!
We are just told to 'be patient', but patience and grief can exist in the same heart. So, to support muslim women and men, I look at the root cause, and that is unprocessed grief and a nervous system that has been ruptured, not that you arent practicing enough.
The same applies to pregnancy loss, where women are often dismissed with phrases like "it's normal" or "your body knows what to do". Just because something is common, unfortunately, doesn't mean you wouldn't need support. In fact, women & men going through infertility, IVF, or who have had miscarriages experience anxiety, depressive symptoms, and a feeling of isolation like in cancer patients. CANCER PATIENTS!! So you are not dramatic, emotional or sensitive if live is really hard right now and you need support.
That is exactly why support is important, so let's change that together!
This service is built for women & men struggling to have their baby, and feel exhausted by pressure, forced hope, and “mindset fixes.”
My work is not about pushing you forward or pressuring you to be hopeful. It is about helping you stay connected to yourself while you navigate infertility. This support is not therapy because your body and mind don't need to be fixed. You are not 'sick,' and don’t need a diagnosis; you need specialized support that recognizes infertility for what it truly is: a crisis in every form. It is a life crisis that changes the future you had imagined, an identity crisis that makes you question who you are, and an existential crisis that challenges the very meaning of your existence.
At the heart of this service are three primary focus areas, which together form the foundation of my approach and in the end gives you the oppurtunity to create a calm nervous system where you no longer are in survival mode every single day on this journey!
