As a mental health support practitioner, I use my educational background in Psychology and Health Promotion to offer a holistic approach to supporting you.
Too often, women in fertility treatment feel like medical objects, where the focus is solely on the physical body. The same applies to pregnancy loss, where women are often dismissed with phrases like "it's normal" or "your body knows what to do". Just because something is common, unfortunately, doesn't mean you wouldn't need support. In fact, women going through infertility, IVF, or who have had miscarriages experience anxiety, depressive symptoms, and a feeling of isolation.
That is exactly why support is important, so let's change that together!
This service is built for women in fertility treatment, women who have experienced pregnancy loss or women who gets pregnant after loss and feel exhausted by pressure, forced hope, and “mindset fixes.”
My work is not about pushing you forward or pressuring you to be hopeful. It is about helping you stay connected to yourself while you navigate infertility. This support is not therapy because your body and mind don't need to be fixed. You are not 'sick,' and don’t need a diagnosis; you need specialized support that recognizes infertility for what it truly is: a crisis in every form. It is a life crisis that changes the future you had imagined, an identity crisis that makes you question who you are, and an existential crisis that challenges the very meaning of your existence.
At the heart of this service are three primary focus areas, which together form the foundation of my approach and in the end gives you the oppurtunity to create a calm nervous system where you no longer are in survival mode every single day on this journey!
